eTwinning at St. Michael's NS
At St. Michael's National School, we are proud to be an active eTwinning school, using the power of digital collaboration to connect our pupils with others across Europe. Through the support of Erasmus+ and Léargas, eTwinning has become an exciting and enriching part of school life.
Our recent Erasmus+ project linked St. Michael's NS with Llesota Primary School in Majorca, Spain and l'Aquila Primary School in Italy, giving pupils the opportunity to learn about different cultures, languages, and traditions in a fun and meaningful way. Together, we explored shared themes such as creativity, music, and identity.
As part of the project, we proudly hosted two intercultural concerts, celebrating the talents of our pupils through music, dance, and the arts. These events, supported by eTwinning, brought our school community together while showcasing the rich cultural connections formed with our European partners.
eTwinning encourages global citizenship, digital literacy, and open-mindedness-all vital skills for today's learners. It allows our pupils to collaborate, create, and celebrate diversity, making learning more engaging and relevant.
At St. Michael's NS, we believe that education knows no borders-and through eTwinning, the world truly becomes our classroom.
